Combining the renowned Naval Architects, MacLean & Harris, with America’s premier builder of large luxury sailing yachts, Palmer Johnson, ARIA offers pedigree, quality, comfort and performance. Featuring twin fore & aft centreboards, ARIA is comfortable in both shallow tropical cruising waters as well as trans-ocean passages. The second smaller aft centreboard adds astonishing upwind and sea-keeping capability.
Frank MacLean was determined to create the ideal cruiser that could be easily handled by a couple. The innovative boom-less mainsail with its triple sheeting arrangement also keeps the sail handling well away from guest areas. The Hundested variable pitch propeller adds additional manoeuvrability and fuel economy. Berthing is made easy with the 15-inch bowthruster.
Aria is a totally custom yacht throughout, from her powerful rig and extremely shallow board(s) up draft, to her on-deck living areas that are unlike any other sailing yacht of twice the size.
Having recently completed an extensive 20 month refit. All systems were inspected, renewed or overhauled and the yacht now presents in pristine condition.
